10 Things That Instagram Hides (A Numbered List)

Location

1) My makeup is never perfect but I post pictures when it looks good that day.
2) My pictures are never straight because I have a crooked smile
and tilting the angle a little makes the bad angle of my front teeth go away.
3) I'm actually very insecure about myself, but I'm doing this thing where
I pretend I'm not because I am trying to be confident in myself.
4) I have really bad social anxiety, like I have a hard time calling unfamiliar people
   or asking strangers for help.
5) I'm just scared of unfamiliar situations or people, in general.
6) I like to turn the "coolness" up so my eyes look more blue
since everyone seems to think they're green.
7) Yes, the only good natural lighting is in my bathroom.
8) I really like the way the natural low lights of the late afternoon
makes my pale skin almost glow and the same with my eyes.
9) Whatever song lyric that accompanies my selfie
is a song that is either...
      a) running through my head
      b) relates to my life at that moment
      c) or both
because I believe in telling everyone how you feel without telling them specifics.
Because bottling your feelings isn't healthy
So sometimes it is okay to be cryptic
So you don't exceed your emotions limit.

But there is one final thing that we fail to address...
It has to do with others and their filters,
but it is of utmost relevance...

10) We acknowledge the good things about others,
like how their dimples show when they smile
and how that filter shows how deep blue their eyes are,
and you're the ship that would sail forever in their irises.
But there are times where that ship sinks
because their eyes are hemlock and their smile, a virus
that you don't have the antidote for.
