“The Prophecy”

“The Prophecy”

I pulled man’s sins out of the Bible

And showed them to the world.

When they heard, they hated me

For they knew they could not stand.

Every man’s weakness at full display

Shown to them by God’s hand.

No man likes to admit his faults

Even though he sees the mirror.

He likes to blame everyone else

And think himself a god.

God has delivered those people

With their pride into their own desires.

They have chosen to serve themselves

Rather than the God of Zion.

God be merciful to mankind

Though wicked in all of his ways

Help us to understand Your love

That we ought to show always.
