To allow you to view

Life with more clarity,

To either filter out all that is bad

And be left with beauty

Or to confront

Head held high

All that is impure in the world

Poetry is an art

It defines the most

Perfect form of existence

Poetry is a lifestyle

it does not leave one

you are changed forever

Above all

To me

Poetry is a living, changing

Reflection of who I am.
