Because we danced
To escape for the first time
One must have a cause
Dispair was mine
And distance was at no pause
Any closer than far was too close
Any further than close was fine
Of courage I took a heathy dose
And the words were all mine
Somehow it came so seemingly
A poem that seemed too sweet
And as I cried bitterly
I was swept off my feet
Because we danced
Once overwhelmed I was relieved
Through all that troubled me we pranced
Though my words were a seed
A seed to never hault
A hault to never cease
My thoughts trapped in a vault
Now alive and at peace
Because we danced
