Beauty: From You to Me

Beauty: From Me to You

Dear lover,

I wish you could see the beauty in yourself

The constant radiating aurora

No you don’t need any Sephora

To cover up what you’re trying to hide behind fake smiles and blushing cheeks

I wish you could know how happy you make me

As we walk on by hand in hand

Certainly a part of some big plan

Dear friend,

I wish you could see the intelligence you have

The possibilities at your fingertips pulsating

As you clench them tight thinking you can’t

Well, I’m here to tell you that you can

I’m here to tell you that no matter what they scream

or no matter what grade you get on that paper

the inner perspective inside trumps all

Dear mother,

I wish you could see how much I appreciate your care

The fact that you’re always there

To offer a kind gesture and a smile

The kind no other can give

I wish you could see the beauty you’ve instilled inside me because I’ve only made it here

Because of you

Signed,

Yours truly
