Black and White, But not Gray.
I am a dark Black and a blinding White,
But not Gray.
I am the Black of night and the White of day,
But not Gray.
I am the Black in ash and the White wind that blows it,
But not Gray.
I am the Black of a book cover and the White pages inside,
But not Gray.
I am the Black hair atop your head and the White sheets under your bed,
But not Gray.
I am the Black in coal and the White in granite,
But not Gray.
I am the Black screen of a turned-off computer and the White of a blank one,
But not Gray.
I am the Black of Halloween and the White of Christmas,
But not Gray.
I am the Black of space and the White stars within,
But not Gray.
I am the Black air of a thunderstorm and the White clouds of summer,
But not Gray.
But Gray is modest, Gray is honest,
Gray is integrity, Gray is identity.
Gray is a nay and a yay,
So maybe I am Gray...
