Determination

Location

Alarm clock blaring, both eyes open slow
Figure it must be the fourth or fifth go
Fix messy bed head, scarf down instant meal
Stumble into tiny automobile

Dash down highway, down backstreet as well
Always run into traffic jam from hell
Curse dumb rotten luck, check dumb broken map
Steaming coffee spills right on top of lap

Go to part time job, at entry level
Oppressed by hum drum management devil
Save up money, need money for college
To soon acquire power through knowledge

Clock out late again, with no overtime
Bills still continue to nickel-and-dime
Call from parents, have high expectations
No iota of real situation

Fear of failure; life will not get better
Restored faith in an acceptance letter
