My Own Purpose

I have many inspirations

But I do it not for me

It is my aspiration

To prove wrong those who tormented me

And make proud those who give me love

Bullies and aggressors put me down

And then begin the torment with a shove

But my dear Grandpa Paul is looking down

Smiling as I continue down my way

While my parents and brother

Have given me encouragement since the first day

It gives me the spirit of no other

For I strive to prove

That I have potential to succeed in life

My own purpose to move

Through life without any strife
