Kaleidoscope

Witnessing you in your darkest hour,
your eyes, lowered in pain, became ablaze.
When they lash out spurn the urge to cower,
for I have woken from my naive daze.
Demolish their bias depravity.
Indignant, you feel like you've been betrayed.
I swear to help you defy gravity,
If you are, don't fret, for I'm not afraid.

I have discerned the beauty within you,
so disregard their vicious and harsh spite.
To yourself, promise to always stay true.
Only then can you blind them with your light.
Let your colors burst and maintain your hope.
You remind me of a kaleidoscope.
