The young girl with the brace face

Or the teenage mom who to her family was only a disgrace

Would be living on the brink

Terrorized them.

They needed a friend.

Of the family

Damaged

Broken down

Empty.

Did you ever think

Of the casket

The black occasion

The funeral

The tears.

 

Did you ever think

There was another way

You didn’t need to bully

Torture

Harass

Scar

Terrorize them.

They could’ve lived to see another day

And yet you condemn

With an unrighteous hand.

 

 

Did you ever think

Of their future

Their dreams

Their hopes

Their lives.

Of course you didn’t.

You didn’t think.

You were living in the moment

To be higher

Stronger

Better than them.
